Houston Construction Porta Potty Rental

Got a crew starting on a Houston site? Job-site toilets only work if someone services them on time. We drop units sized to your crew, pump and restock them every week, and leave them there for as long as the build takes.

  • Weekly pump-out and restock
  • Sized to your crew
  • Hand-wash stations too

Sizing

How many your site needs

OSHA sets the legal minimum for construction: one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, and for bigger crews one toilet seat and one urinal per 40 workers. Treat that as the floor.

Sites that get weekly service do better with about one unit for every ten workers on a 40-hour week. Longer shifts, weekend work or a crew that grows partway through all push that number up.

Where it goes wrong

Full by Thursday

Put a single unit on a site with fifteen people and it's full well before the service truck comes back. By Thursday nobody wants to go near it, and the crew starts leaving the site to find a restroom.

Getting the count right fixes most of it. The rest is access, because the service truck has to reach every unit each week. If a pallet of block gets dropped in front of one, that unit gets skipped.

Keep truck access

Don't box units in with material drops or parked equipment.

Pick level ground

Firm and flat. Soft ground after rain is the usual problem.

Add hand washing

A hand-wash station helps anywhere there's no running water on site.

Questions

Construction Porta Potty questions

Don’t see yours? Put it in the notes on the form and a local provider will follow up.

How many porta potties do I need on a construction site?
About one for every ten workers on a 40-hour week with weekly service. OSHA's minimum is lower (one toilet for 20 or fewer workers, then one seat and one urinal per 40), but sites at the minimum fill up before service day.
How often are construction porta potties serviced?
Weekly as standard: pumped, sanitized and restocked. Busy sites get serviced twice a week. We set the schedule with you and include it when they confirm pricing.
Can I rent porta potties for a long-term project?
Yes. A weekend or eighteen months are quoted the same way, with service included for as long as the units are there.
Do you rent hand-wash stations for job sites?
Yes. They go next to the units and are worth adding anywhere there's no running water.
How much does a construction porta potty cost in Houston?
It depends on how many units you need, how often they're serviced and how long they stay. Delivery, service and pickup are typically included. The local provider confirms pricing for your request.
